self-funded Flinders Island Artist in Residence program.

On Island Time is thrilled to offer an Artist in Residence program whereby Artists of all types may apply to come and reside on Flinders Island for over a three-week period. We are looking for artists, who have a love of nature and the sea. We have had many great residents join us over the last few years, specialising in different disciplines. The various disciplines artists have engaged in during their time here have included photography, painting, origami, writing, music composition, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, wood sculpture, design for printmaking, jewellery design and more...

Artists are encouraged to engage with the life of the island community, and we will give you a directory of who you can contact and what they are up to. An acceptance letter can be provided to successful applicants to help artists secure grants or other funding to help them participate.
